Job Description
**Position begins in March 2026.
Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful
accomplishment of their imaging needs. Performs ultrasound procedures
as directed by the physicians. Responsible for providing consistently
high levels of customer service and continuous quality improvement (CQI).
- Performs all aspects of patient care to optimize patient safety and radiation
protection and reduce the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
- Consistently informs and prepares patients and family for ultrasound examinations.
- Assesses patient pain interfering with imaging procedure - makes appropriate
adjustments in technique and when necessary, contacts physician for intervention.
- Other duties, as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Associates of Applied Science required
- Registered with ARDMS or ARRT(s) preferred, required within 1 year of hire
- One year of OB/GYN ultrasound experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
