Job Description

**$5000 sign on bonus!**

  • Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Medical-Surgical setting.
  • Provides nursing care through physical and mental assessments, laboratory testing, treatment plans and therapeutic treatments.
  • Knowledgeable of a wide range of disorders; cognitive, emotional, developmental, social and behavioral.
  • Performs crisis intervention.
  • Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
  • Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
  • Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
  • Participates in the department's performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Qualifications

  • Must be flexible, adapt to changing work loads, work well with staff on different units.
  • CPR, ACLS preferred.
  • Prefer at least 1 year of Med Surg experience.
  • Current Indiana RN license or LPN license
