Job Description
Responsible for the overall clinical quality, integrity, service excellence,
growth and financial viability of rehab therapy programs. Plans, develops,
implements and monitors appropriate provision, documentation, billing
of clinical services and customer relations. Identifies and implements
marketing opportunities to increase referrals. Evaluates effectiveness
of employees and ongoing programs. Provides clinical care in alignment
with clinical license.
- Plans, develops, implements and monitors therapy operations for overall
quality, effectiveness, and financial viability. Manages Rehab Team to
ensure operational and clinical functions deliver desired results.
- Takes responsibility for the development, retention, hiring, performance
management, compensation, and engagement of therapy staff. Partners with
and utilizes HR resources.
- Scheduling of staff around PTO, absences and census fluctuations that assures
proper staffing levels.
- Oversees clinical competency of therapy staff and implementation of clinical
resources, as needed.
- Delivers patient care and/or clinical supervision to meet each patient’s
goals and needs as prescribed by medical provider and determined by the
evaluation and treatment plans. Ensures all care delivery is consistent
with individual’s license.
- Ensures staff is properly licensed and trained in skilled therapy documentation;
audits for documentation quality and billing integrity.
- Assists with outreach and program development to meet the organizations
needs. Partners with marketing to assist with provider and community engagement.
- Oversees compliance with accurate documentation, billing of therapy services,
and denials. Ensures completion of annual compliance requirements.
- Complete intake paperwork including validating orders and insurance information,
as appropriate. Ensure billing department receives all documents necessary
to complete invoicing and collection.
Qualifications
- Graduate from Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language
Pathology program OR graduate from Physical Therapy Assistant or Occupational
Therapy Assistant program.
- Must possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice
- Minimum five (5) year experience as treating therapist
- Experience in sales and marketing, preferred
- Valid driver’s license in the state of practice
- Ability to travel as needed to manage therapy services in multiple locations
and for sales and marketing.
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
