Job Description
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the ACU setting under the
direct supervision of a registered nurse. Communicates with supervising
RN, as appropriate, about changes in patient’s clinical condition
including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Participates
in the department's performance improvement and continuous quality
improvement (CQI) activities.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with eligibility to sit for
NCLEX exam within 45 days of hire.
- BLS
- Must be willing to float to other units in the hospital and have the
ability to adapt to changing workloads
