Job Description
The EMT performs technical emergency medical work in the field. The major
challenge for this position is to perform basic life support treatments
and assist the Paramedic in the spirit of teamwork. After appropriate
training this position may perform other technical rescue functions. The
incumbent must be able to work under stress and initiate appropriate life
saving measures and perform physical activity which requires a full range
of body movement, often in uncontrolled, potentially dangerous situations.
The role may include other responsibilities and duties as assigned to
meet Daviess Community Hospital EMS needs.
Qualifications

Licensure/Certification requirements: Indiana EMT Certification, driver’s license, BLS Healthcare Provider
Education requirements: Mustcomplete ITLS, AMLS, and CEVO within 1 year of hire date.
Experience requirements: One year full time or two years part time or volunteer EMS experience
